🦀 Crabbies

A retro party favorite that freezes beautifully. These cheesy, crabby English muffin bites are addictive straight from the oven and perfect for holidays or quick snacks.


🧂 Ingredients

  • 6 Thomas’s English Muffins
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 (5 oz) jar Old English Cheese Spread
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (or more to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 6–7 oz crab meat (preferably canned lump, drained if wet)

🍽 Instructions

  1. Split muffins and lay them on sheet pans.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter, cheese spread, and mayo until smooth.
  3. Add garlic powder and seasoned salt. Mix well.
  4. Gently fold in crab meat.
  5. Spread mixture generously over muffin halves.
  6. Freeze on sheet pans until mixture firms.
  7. Cut each muffin into wedges (6–8 pieces per muffin).
  8. Store frozen wedges in bags or containers.

🔥 To Cook:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place frozen wedges on sheet pan.
  3. Bake 5–7 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

🥗 For lunch, leave muffins whole and serve with a green salad.
