🍄 Steve’s Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Easy, savory, and always a hit at parties. Hot Italian sausage, cheesy goodness, and perfectly baked mushrooms — with Steve’s custom twist for added flavor.


đź§‚ Ingredients

  • 24 large mushrooms (stems removed)
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 oz grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • ÂĽ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley

🍽 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Hollow out mushroom caps, saving the insides.
  3. Sauté sausage, onion, and mushroom scrapings in skillet until browned.
  4. Drain fat, then return mixture to pan.
  5. Add 3 oz Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, and parsley. Stir until warm and mixed.
  6. Stuff mixture into each mushroom cap and place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake 3 more minutes until bubbly.
